Breakfast at Au Patio: a good morning in Thảo Điền
Start your morning at Au Patio Thảo Điền with Vietnamese and speciality coffee, croissants, full breakfasts and choices for children. Open daily from 7:30.
Some mornings, the best place to begin is with a hot cup of coffee. Hands around the cup, that first sip, a few minutes to sit before the day gathers pace.
At Au Patio Thảo Điền, we welcome you from 7:30 every morning. Perhaps you’ve already been out for a run. Perhaps there are school bags beside your chair, or a working day ahead that can wait until you’ve had breakfast. Our team is here to help you start it well.
There’s no single way to do breakfast here. A croissant and coffee might be just enough. On another morning, you might arrive hungry for the full plate.

First, your kind of coffee
Coffee is a personal ritual. You know how you like it, and sometimes that familiar order is exactly what the morning needs.
There’s the Vietnamese way, with a cà phê to ease you into the day, or a speciality coffee to enjoy alongside breakfast. When the morning already feels warm, cold brew makes a refreshing start: original, with milk, or with orange or pink grapefruit for a citrus twist. Coconut coffee and salted coffee offer other directions when you feel like changing your usual order.
And coffee needn’t have the table to itself. A pot of hot tea, a ginger tea or an iced fruit tea has its own place in the morning. Fresh juices bring orange, pineapple, watermelon, apple or carrot to the glass; smoothies and milkshakes offer something fruitier or more indulgent. A mango and strawberry smoothie for one person, a blueberry yogurt milkshake for another—everyone can find their own beginning.
A croissant morning, or a full-breakfast morning?
There’s a particular pleasure in keeping breakfast simple. Coffee, a buttery croissant, perhaps a little bread with butter and strawberry jam. Our bread and croissant basket brings those familiar French breakfast pleasures together: something to tear, spread and enjoy between sips.
Then there are mornings when you’ve earned a bigger appetite.
The Full Breakfast brings eggs your way with bacon, sausage, baked beans, tomato, mushrooms, hash brown and bread. It’s a plate to settle into after an early workout, or to enjoy when you have time for breakfast to become a proper meal.
For something different, the salmon croissant pairs house-made gravlax with avocado, vegan ricotta and fresh rocket. Homemade granola with Greek yogurt, honey and fruit offers another kind of breakfast altogether—cool, crunchy and easy to enjoy at your own pace.
Some days you know exactly what you want. Other days, it’s worth opening the menu before deciding.

Small appetites have a place at the table
Before school, breakfast can be a chance to spend a little time together before everyone heads in a different direction.
The Kids’ Breakfast brings an egg, avocado, cherry tomatoes, hash brown, bacon and bread to a smaller plate. There’s mini granola too, or pancakes with fruit and a choice of chocolate or honey for mornings that call for something sweet.
When there’s no school bell to catch, you can stay a little longer. Children can explore the play area or choose a book while the grown-ups finish breakfast and catch up over coffee. Sometimes that extra conversation is the nicest part of going out.
Before the rest of the day
A breakfast stop doesn’t need to be a special occasion. It can be the familiar pause after a run, a table shared before work, or a morning when nobody feels like making breakfast at home.
Come with an appetite, bring the children, or drop in for your usual coffee. At Au Patio Thảo Điền, we’ll be ready to welcome you from 7:30.
